Virgin White Polyethylene wax
- Introduce
Polyethylene wax (PE wax), also called polymer wax, is abbreviated as polyethylene wax. Because of its excellent cold resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance and abrasion resistance has been widely used. In normal production, this part of the wax can be directly added to polyolefin processing as an additive, which can increase the gloss and processing performance of the product. As a lubricant, its chemical properties are stable and its electrical properties are good. Polyethylene wax has good compatibility with polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene wax, ethylene propylene rubber and butyl rubber. It can improve the fluidity of polyethylene, polypropylene and ABS, and release properties of polymethyl methacrylate and polycarbonate. Compared to PVC and other external lubricants, polyethylene wax has a stronger internal lubrication.
The principle of action of polyethylene wax:
Polyethylene
wax is dissolved in a solvent at a high temperature (about 100-140 °
C), and precipitates when cooled to normal temperature, and is present
in the form of crystallites, because the
thixotropic property is favorable for the storage of the coating, and
after the application of the coating, it
can migrate to the surface of the coating film during the evaporation
process of the solvent, and finally form a "waxed" surface layer with
other components of the coating.
The
effect of the polyethylene wax depends on several factors: the variety
specification of the polyethylene wax, the final particle size, the
ability to migrate to the surface of the coating film, the composition
of the coating, the nature of the substrate to be coated, and the
application method for construction.
Our factory prouces pe wax by ourselves to reduce cost of masterbatch production.
