The production process of black masterbatch
07/09/2018
The production process of black masterbatch is common in the following.
(1) Production process of double rotor continuous mixer
The
production process is to first weigh carbon black,
resin and other additives according to the formula, then add the
components to a high-speed mixer and mix at normal temperature for 10
min, and add it to the double-rotor continuous mixing. The
temperature of the mixing section is 160°, and the continuous mixing of
the object is discharged from the discharge door to the downstream
single screw, and is extruded into a strip shape through the die. Then the strips, the sink is cooled, cut into granules, which is the masterbatch. The shearing and mixing force of the process materials is large, and
the color masterbatch dispersing effect produced by the mixing is
relatively good, but the production process is large, the process is
relatively large, the energy consumption is large, and the cost is high.
(2) Closed processing process
In
this process, the carrier resin, the additive and the carbon black are
directly added to the internal mixer, and the mixed material is extruded
through a screw to produce a black masterbatch. The
black masterbatch produced by the company has superior performance and
good dispersibility, and is generally used for producing high-grade
plastic color masterbatch and chemical fiber masterbatch. The price of the masterbatch produced by it is relatively high.
(Twin screw production process)
The
process consists of pre-mixing the carrier resin, additives and carbon
black through a high-speed mixer and granulating through twin-screw
extrusion to produce black masterbatch. This
process is simple, and the co-rotating twin-screw extruder can also
provide a relatively high shear force for the material. If a reasonable
formula design and process adjustment are made, high-quality masterbatch
can be produced.
