The black masterbatch is a
masterbatch material produced by carbon black, carrier and additives. In recent years, it has played an extremely
important role in many industries. Black gives a mysterious,
high-end color feel, so the black masterbatch can add stylish label to its
products. However, in some
cases, the black masterbatch is not well dispersed due to some reasons,
resulting in an uneven dispersion effect, thereby affecting the appearance of
the product. Today,
I will introduce to you, how to deal with the uneven dispersion of black
masterbatch, for your reference!
Method one:
When
the material is wet, it will be melt at the mouth first, but will not melt
completely, which will cause it to be squeezed there, so dry it before using.
The dried material is easier to enter than the wet material.
Method Two:
Decrease the temperature of
the spout, even down very low, for example 100 degrees, in this case, it is not
the first to melt before entering, but directly squeezed in, relying on the
power of the screw, not the heat. The downside to this is that if
the material is made for a long time, the damage to the screw is relatively
large.
Method three:
Use the broken screw to
connect it, and change the diameter of the front section to be slightly smaller
than the back section. The gap is
large and it is easy to feed.
Method four:
Increase the inlet. If you
are doing this for a long time, you can enlarge the inlet. Of course, the large size
of inlet does not mean that more feed can be added. Mixing equipment can be
added. Refer to the production equipment of PS foam.
Method five:
Change the plate of the motor. Change the diameter of the
rotating plate so that the screw speed is fast, and the material is stirred in before
it dissolves. The disadvantage the screw is easy
to break. After
the speed is fast, the temperature should be raised in the heating zone at the
back, otherwise the back force of the screw is too large.
Black masterbatch has different usage
ratios in different products. Don't use
it wrong!
1:100
: Unless the mixing property of the equipment is very good, uneven pigment
dispersion is likely to occur, and it is generally not recommended for
customers to use this ratio.
However,
some customers are particularly eager to use this proportion of color
masterbatch due to price pressure. For the sake of customers, they also produce
such a low proportion of concentrated color masterbatch, and the dispersibility
of the pigment can generally meet the requirements.
1:50: It is
used for plastic products with general coloring requirements. PE and PP color
masterbatch use this ratio more.
1:33--1:25:
It is used for PO products with high coloring requirements, and ABS products
with lower coloring requirements or general requirements.
1:20: It is used
in advanced plastic products, including PO and ABS, and can be widely used in
injection molding, blow molding, spinning and other processes. 1:20 or more is generally used for
coloring of high-grade cosmetic containers, and is used more for small
injection molding machines.
